At Moderna, sustainability is a journey we’re deeply committed to. We take pride in developing programs and initiatives that not only support our customers' ambitions but also advance our own internal sustainability goals.

One of our key objectives is to maximize energy efficiency. Our production facility in Belgium has been designed with the future in mind. For instance, all excess heat generated from our production processes is recovered and reused to heat our buildings.

Additionally, we generate 30% of our energy needs through 6,153 solar panels installed on our roof. Since their installation in August 2022, these panels have contributed to significant green achievements:
