We all watched in horror at the recent devastation in the Caribbean and Florida, caused by the hurricanes. MODERNA reacted swiftly to help The Humane Society of Broward County by donating some of our ROAD RUNNER animal carriers to help the many animals affected. Cherie Wachter, Vice President of Marketing at The society said: "Prior to Hurricane Irma, the HSBC evacuated 164 animals from our shelter and they were flown thanks to Wings of Rescue, the Tony LaRussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation in Walnut Creek, CA. We also organized a transport with 4 other Florida shelters to send over 100 animals after the hurricane to the Atlanta Humane Society.
